Pause and resume product sync

The top card on Sync Rules — Sync is active / Sync is paused — is a global stop button for product sync. Use it to halt creation and updates without throwing away your rules.

Pause

1. Open Sync Rules.
2. Flip the switch on the top card to off. The card label changes to Sync is paused.
3. Click Save changes.

Resume

Same card, switch back on, Save changes. Sync re-evaluates the catalog against your rules and creates anything that became eligible while you were paused — same behaviour as saving sync rules normally.

What pause does — and doesn't — affect

While paused:

• No new products are created.
• No upstream catalog updates land on existing products (cover art, dates, credits, price).
• Existing products stay live on your storefront exactly as they are. Orders, pre-orders, and subscription billing all continue.
• Manual edits and overrides persist.
• Your rule groups, subscription setting, and product settings are preserved — nothing on the rest of the page takes effect while paused.
